SIGH! A couple of months ago I couldn't find my rusty stars. After days of searching they finally turned up. My mind told me . . . label a box "rusty stuff" (bells, safety pins . . . had trouble finding those, too . . . , stars). I'm guessing you figured out I once again did not listen. I have been searching for the stars for days. Finally broke down and ordered more on Amazon so I'm guessing I will find them soon.
I am still trying to finish things up for vending in two weeks. I just need to tell myself enough already!!!
I had this punch needle piece "not fully finished" for years and found I had the perfect little drawer to put it in.
Also finished up these two trees on hide stretchers. They will look so much better with a star at the top . . . lol!
A memory that popped up on Facebook. Hard to believe this was 11 years ago. Geez, it's probably been 4-5 years since DSO sold the airplane (that he built in his garage!!!).
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Oh, we are having the most glorious fall weather in northern Ohio. I wish it could stay like this until spring!
Pug hugs 😊

Sweet Santa design and the trees are lovely too.
ReplyDeleteDoes Fritz miss his plane and how many years did he have to use it before he sold it?
Your pieces look great! I feel your pain as to having to search for things. I spent a chunk of the afternoon looking for a certain something. I did find it...in a spot I already looked at several times. A quick prayer to St Anthony: dear St Anthony dressed in brown, something's lost and can't be found and it's driving me crazy!( I added the last part myself, hope it gave him a chuckle because I keep him pretty busy any more) I did find it. Turns out I put something on top of it,duh!!! Your DSO sounds like a fascinating, many talented man! Cool pictures!!
ReplyDeleteSanta is adorable! And perfect finish in that little drawer. I can relate too well to the misplaced/lost things curse...and it gets worse day by day. My Halloween decorating stalled to a stop when I could not find my cat clock and outdoor lanterns. Spent more time looking for them than I will admit and they still haven't appeared. And I have an ongoing "scavenger hunt" list of of items for anyone who cares to play should they stop by. (Said list includes the backing magnet we've discussed...)
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem of finding things. I have too many categories and not enough time. Labeling boxes sounds like a good idea. Your finished pieces are all lovely.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Hugs

Hate when I can't find things ...when Nellie Neatness strikes here before company comes , things get lost easily. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove your cute Santa in the drawer ! Your Cmas trees are great !!! I am almost ready for Sandy's Hook In (Woolen Memories ) and our big craft fair just a few days after . Has been hectic here !!! Then I can Play again !!!
