A glimpse in the front garden today.
Snowdrops are out in full force.
Same with the winter aconite.
Even the daffs are budding. I pick them when they are only a few inches tall. It is amazing how much they will grow in water and bloom soon.
Only 20 days until spring, but here we are 😁
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not there are signs of spring here too which were exposed after the snow melt.
ReplyDeleteI am Jealous !!!! We still have lots of snow cover here . It did reach 50 today and a lot of snow melted , but not enough . We could even wake up to 2" if more darn snow tomorrow morning !!! UGH
ReplyDeleteToday I went to Sandy's and bought her runner of 3 little baskets. That should be fun to hook & cherry !
Like Nancy, I'm JEALOUS! I can't believe you can see ground vs. snow let alone have things blooming! We are still completely snow-covered here although we did lose quite a bit Thursday/Friday....I think? But now we're back to cold....Right now it's 14º (real temp...w/o windchill) and will once again dip down to single temps overnight. March always scares me...it seems it usually ends up being one of our snowiest months. Enjoy your Fool's Spring...and brace for "Second Winter." ;-)
ReplyDeleteNo signs of Spring here yet. I am jealous...but then you ight be in false Spring. Am hoping Spring comes soon though. Started my Spring decor inside. Janice
ReplyDeleteDid not know to cut daffodils early. I have three every year, never spread. Weird.
ReplyDeleteHi Lauren, us too, Fool's spring. Your flowers are lovely. It is those early spring blooms that give me such joy. I hope you have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteWe still have 2 feet of snow on the ground below zero tonight and more snow coming in tomorrow. Thanks for a glimpse of spring.
