My last post had a link to Sue's blog where my zipline video is posted. Well . . . that link is now gone 😡 For those who could not see the video, click here and hopefully it will direct you to her blog! I just don't understand what happened.
Our weather is finally improving. Though still a bit chilly, it hasn't rained for a couple of days and the gardens are exploding with color. I still haven't bought annuals yet. SOON!

My rooster is rusting and I love him. |

I think froggy is praying I will finally get the little pond cleaned out. |

Rusting lantern I purchased last year. The hen and chicks survived the winter and the squirrels haven't stolen them. |

Isn't mother nature amazing? There is a tiny rust pinhole and a weed is growing from it. |
Please take a moment to remember why we are celebrating Memorial Day. To those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, we appreciate your service and thank you for allowing us to be free. Sadly, there is a price for freedom and we must never take it for granted.
Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, is for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
God Bless America!
Lauren
I always wonder at blogger. Things do just disappear. That was a very cute video though. I watched it and meant to come back and comment on it again. I want to try a zip line in the future. Your garden is so pretty and it looks like early spring if you were here. I think your days get longer and your garden just gets prettier and prettier.
ReplyDeleteSo enjoy seeing your creativity in the gardens. Without being able to plant in ground, everything here has to hang or find a place to sit. That frog cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteYour Iris are gorgeous. I have some but they aren't the brilliant blue as yours are, mine are just plain drab blue iris. Your rusty rooster is getting more character now that he's again, wish I was, lol.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time I had loads of hens and chicks but the damn rodents with furry tails found mine too.
God Bless the men and women who sacrificed their all for America's freedom.
I can tell you how to post videos on your blog if you want...just lemme know. Wow...can't believe how much "blooming" you have going on there already. I've given up on irises - love them, but their root systems that are mostly above ground make it impossible for me to weed around. Love your Hen n' Chicks - but, here in Nod, they rarely, if ever, winter over. :-( Heck, this year, I'm not sure much will come through. We were down to 30º last night. C'est la vie, c'est la guerre.
ReplyDeleteBlogger is great fun when it behaves but when it doesn’t? Not so much. Your pictures here are very pretty. This wet cold spring has us behind on the usual things we normally do to get ready for nicer weather. I have a few iris’ out back and this, oddly enough, has been their prettiest bloom time in the 8 years they’ve been growing.
ReplyDeleteI did see your video...but blogger sometimes can be a hassle. Irises are my favorite Spring flower as they has any color of the rainbow to choose from. We went through 3 of the small towns near us today and all had an observance of Memorial Day. One town even posted flags with photos of fallen soldiers. It was a reminder to those still here of the sacrifices our soldiers gave to keep us free. God Bless those soldiers. Janice
ReplyDeleteYou have such pretty Spring flowers ! Today is a beautiful sunny day for Memorial day ! I still need to buy herbs and a few annuals .
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers we have had 3 nice days but going back into the rain and cold for 4 more days starting tomorrow. I am more than sick of it.
