Oh Christmas Tree ~

No, I'm not starting to decorate.  It doesn't happen here until the week after Thanksgiving.  Just wanted to give you a heads up on the pre-lit tinsel tree I showed last year that so many of you loved.  They are once again at Walmart.

They come in two sizes and two "finishes".  The rose gold almost looks tarnished, but does have a pink cast to it.

Not much hooking or creating going on here.  I've spent the week cleaning.  It's LONG overdue and the dust bunnies and wool dust were totally out of control.  Company coming to stay for Thanksgiving is great incentive ~ even if it's family.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

I might just consider one of those tinsel trees Lauren. We used to put a ton of tinsel on our live trees when I was a child and then for a few years when those "silver" trees became en vogue - we had those aluminum trees. THese are reminiscent of that happy time in my childhood. Who doesn't love to re-live happy memories. They look narrow so might work in our dining room. Thanks for the tip !
I hear from my friend Denise who was at the show in Ohio that she saw you and had a great time. Looks like some super quality stuff and what a pitfall that would be. I love turned wood pieces - always been a fan but thanks for enlightening me on Pease and so forth. Always love shots of your lovely home and how you utilize so well all your collections. Hugs and have a great weekend - Mel

That looks like a fun tree! Reminds me of the aluminum one my gramma had with the color wheel. It was all the rage back in the 1950's. Janice ps I am going to start decorating this weekend. At least my corncob tree. Have a great weekend! Janice

That is a fun tree and something different. I was about to decorate, but the kids decided they wanted us to cook, so I will keep my fall up, till after thanksgiving.

It seems that every year, the stores are putting out their Christmas decorations out earlier and earlier to tempt us to spend more money. It desensitizes us to the real meaning of Christmas I think... By the time Christmas comes around, we can't wait to put Christmas away. I have seen Christmas decorations out before Halloween.

We received over 10 inches of snow in this last snow storm yesterday and the sun is shining today.
It looks like Christmas outside. Who needs to decorate, lol...
Have a great weekend my friend.
Hugs, Julia

I do love that tree! I will need to go see if its here. Oh, my house is so much in need of cleaning too.
I think having guests in for Thanksgiving is a wonderful motivator. Have a wonderful week.

Thanks Lauren. Can also be ordered on their website and shipped to store. Haven't decided if I will add another to the group, but so different and vintage. Love yours.
