- Welcome and thank you for stoppping by. I live just two blocks from beautiful Lake Erie. I am a rug hooker, needle puncher, and antique collector. I bought my first antique in 1983 and have not stopped since. I keep telling my boys that the antiques are their inheritance. I am mom to two adult sons and grandma to 15 year old Jake.

I remember that fateful day and nothing has been the same ever since.

I too remember and the total feeling of terror after hearing the places attacked and wondering what was next..total full scale war? Horrible feeling..I was stuck at work, hubby who is a truck driver was on his way to New York..thank God he stopped before he continued. Kids were stuck at school, and all I could think was how to get us all together...
