16# of Cuteness ~

Meet Cheeri, my first foster in 4 1/2 years.  Let me start with her name.  Ohio Pug Rescue picks a theme each month to name the dogs coming in to rescue.  They want each pug to have a unique foster name.  If not, there would be dozens of Franks (think Men in Black), Pugsleys and Puggies.  The month's theme when she came in was My Little Pony.  I guess there is a pony named Cheerilee, so she is Cheeri for short.  I have two sons and a grandson, so what do I know about Ponies?  She was an owner surrender :(  Her human dad died and the human mom went to a nursing home.  Thankfully the family called OPR where she will be well taken care of.  She is as sweet as can be, just over 5 years old and 16# of cute.

On the ride home.

We're here.

So serious (Cheeri, not DSO . . . lol).

Chillin'.

Helping me hook :)

Relaxing while I'm on the computer.

I'm so happy you got to meet Cheeri.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

I think that the Cheery 16 pounds of cuteness is quite content. Me thinks you might want to make her a keeper.

Awww, Cheery will soon feel like she # 1 around you place and I know that she has chosen the best of foster momma.

She honestly looks very sweet. Poor little thing, loosing both of her guardians. I'm glad that you have such a big heart.
All the best with Cheery.

Bigs hugs, Julia

I'll add my 'cute' along with all the rest. The heck with fostering. I'd go directly to adoption. She looks like a keeper!

Hi Lauren,
I prayed you and Cheeri (before I knew her name) would connect!! Seems that is a BIG ANSWERED PRAYER!! I think God knew you both needed each!!! She is ADORABLE!!! So happy for both of you!!! I know if she had a blog, she would be telling all of her friends how very lucky she is!!!
Enjoy this sweet blessing, Lauren!

Oh. My. Goodness. How absolutely adorable!! Only 16 pounds? A little on the light side. LOL LOL We raised pugs when I was young and don't think we had anything under 25 pounds. LOL And not in a good way. Isn't it just perfect to have those little doggie noises around the house?
