I should be out doing more yard work (already did some clean up and mowed the lawn), but wanted to share some pictures from yesterday's Southeast Michigan Hook In. This is just a sampling of the rugs displayed. I will share more in my next post.
I did no hooking, but did work on binding my sheep challenge rug and finished it last night. Except for a few pumpkins (which don't count . . . lol), I am caught up on binding rugs. It's not often I can say that :)
Of course I can't go to a hook in without buying some wool. I must be crazy, but bought lots of small pieces of wool from Anne Bond, Visions of Ewe. She has the most beautiful wools. Her colors are to dye for. As is always the case, these wools are much more muted/drabby in person. Many other vendors had beautiful wools, too, but I tried to restrain myself.
One piece of paisley came home with me, too. You can't see in the picture, but the light grey looking shades showing on my monitor are actually a gorgeous teal color.
Must get back to some yard work.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
