HAPPY NEW YEAR ~

Happy New Year!  Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy lives to read my blatherings. I appreciate you spending a bit of your free time with me and your comments mean so much.  I can't believe another year has passed us by.  Time sure is flying, isn't it?

I had a wild and crazy New Year's Eve ~ NOT.  As the new year began, I was on the phone calling snow plow drivers in to work.  The storm arrived hours earlier than anticipated, so I needed to get the drivers in.  Guys that planned to work today at 11:00 am were called around midnight to come in ASAP.  I don't know how they do it on little/no sleep.  We've gotten 4-5" with at least that much more predicted for the duration of the day.  I may be heading in to work . . . haven't yet heard if they need me (I DO NOT drive a plow).   My desk is piled high so I have plenty to do to keep me busy.  Basically I would be there to answer the phone of people calling because "they are a taxpayer and we NEVER plow their street" . . . lol!

May each and everyone of you be blessed with health, happiness and a bit of prosperity in this new year.

Thanks for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

What on earth are those pugs drinking??? Ha-ha!

Yuck for more snow! Hope you don't have to go out in it for work. Much better to have a quiet day at home hooking and drinking hot chocolate.

May the New Year bring you good health and happiness!

I love your picture that is so cute. I do hope you don't have to go to work, but even if you don't drive a snow plow I think it would be so much fun.
Stay warm and Happy New Year and I hope you have a wonderful 2014

The pugs photo was funny. Perhaps you are chillin' and relax'n instead of hooking. Sorry you had all that snow but in all honesty glad it isn't here.

I can only imagine the phone calls you receive. May you have a blessed year! They are calling for a dusting of snow here in Georgia, so that means no bread,no milk and most likely no snow. Lol

I saw that picture on Facebook and immediately thought of you! I'm guessing our snow plow guys are getting a few hours sleep because they will be out in full force by morning. (I really hate this winter)

What a way fun for pugs to ring in a New Year, lol....
I'm running behind in my comments but I always love to come visit your blog.

Thank goodness for dispatchers like you who keep the ploughs clearing our streets. I really do appreciate those plough crews and I hope that they get a break from cold snowy weather.

Wishing you all the best for 2014.
Hugs,
JB
