Another Finish ~

I pulled the last few loops on my hearts and clover rug this evening.   I hooked this to give as a gift, but this one will be hard to part with.  I guess I'll just have to hook another.  I could not get a decent picture with or without the flash.  This is without . . . this is actually not too bad  . . the red bird is very subtle.  I first hooked it with a dark outline but it was totally lost in the background.  The "beauty line" helps a bit.

With the flash.  UGH!  Totally wrong!

Here is the pattern on linen.  It is about 18" x 21". If you would like a chance to win this pattern, please leave a comment on this post or drop me an email with give-away in the title.  I will pick a winner in a few days . . . not sure when :)

If you would like to purchase this pattern on linen (from MM Rug Wool), I would be happy to draw one for you.  The cost is $30 with free US shipping.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

I can never get a true color photo of my rugs, if i get one color, the rest are off, lol. That would be fun as a wooly penny mat too.

Hi Lauren, your rug turned out really nice and I love the colors. I think that the lighter outline gives the bird some subtle definition and the red is perfect for the background. I would love to be enteredin your give away but I have won one of your give away before.

Hugs,

Giveaway. I love that cute little mat. Yours is great

Checked with the resident Corgi and he said that a "rug from a pug" house would be most welcome. He is one dog with a discerning palette. Which just means he is very fussy about every thing and if he doesn't like something, you'll know pretty fast.

Glad you decided to go with the red bird. Would go great with all the red birds scattered around the house. Not sure how that happened but it did.

Hi, Lauren,
Sorry I didn't get back to you about ordering the rug, but now maybe I can win it!! If not, I'll probably order it from you this winter, when I actually have the time to hook. I've been so buy outside. As usual, your rug turned out wonderfully. Do you gather poppy seeds in the late summer/ fall? If you do, I'd love to have some...
Have a nice Memorial Day weekend.
Hugs
