Two Rugs and a Pug ~

Woo hoo!  Two more rugs are bound ~ one to go.  I still need to bind my Magdalena horse rug that I finished many months ago!  I have just had a mental block about that rug from the time I started hooking it, a long, long time ago.
Here is the little horse mat I just finished.  I think I should call it "horse with fat legs" :)  No matter how many camera settings I tried, I could not even come close to the true colors.  Maybe I need to try taking one outside.  Hopefully I can get a better picture to share at a later date.

Lexington proddy sheep, a pattern by Alice of A Day in the Life, is finally bound, too.  This was such a fun rug to hook.  The colors in the background are much more subtle in person.

Tomorrow is hooking at the library and I don't have a thing ready to hook.  I hate when that happens!
Thursday I will be picking up my new foster girl.  She is a one and a half year old fawn female who is at a shelter.  I was told she was adopted a month ago and returned because she did not get along with the other dog in the house.  The naming theme for the month ~ TEA.  Her name is Chamomile so I'll call her Cammie.  I can't wait to meet her!
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

I love your rugs and I really love the horse with fat legs....... Might look funny with skinny legs! : ). We are thinking of adding a pug to our family in the near future. Hopefully Cammie will find her forever home soon!

I love the background in the proddy sheep rug, Lauren. You did a great job! Your little red horse looks proportionally perfect to me! Both rugs are great.

Can't wait to see pix of Cammie.

I am excited to hear more about Cammie! Winnie and Cleo are excited, too. They arrived at my home, years apart, at about Cammie's age.

Oh Lauren, how exciting! A new Pug. Eloise and I can't wait to meet her. I also love the background in the sheep rug. Like you I still have a rug to finish the taping and kick strip on, just can't make myself do it! The least enjoyable part of rug hooking!

You are on a roll with the finishing. The horse legs look fine to me. I love the theme names! Who thought Tea would be a name theme but it works.

Oh, I'm jealous! I have two rugs currently sitting around waiting to be bound. I should work on them because my brain is only fit for binding at the moment! Love the mats! I can't wait to meet little Camomile.
