Welcome to Rugs and Pugs! Thank you so much for stopping by to read my first post.

I am primarily a primitive rug hooker and needle puncher. For many years I did counted cross stitch, primarily reproduction samplers, but the eyes aren’t what they used to be…lol! I’ve also been a basket weaver, tried my hand at wood carving, painting, and a little of this and that.

I am also a pug lover! I have joint custody of a princess pug named Loocie (that’s another story!) and belong to Ohio Pug Rescue. I have fostered three female pugs in the last 9 months who are now in loving forever homes. Pugs are great therapy in a stressful life.

I will be having a patriotic give-a-way during the month of June to celebrate the 4th of July. Stop back to sign up and to see what project I am working on, what’s new on the pug front, and learn a little more about who I am.

Please remember, what counts is the journey, not the destination.

Thanks again for stopping by.

Lauren
